July 17, 2002 -- Volume 3, No. 29
safedrinkingwater.com NEWS -- the premier newsletter for the drinking water quality industry.

This week's NEWS

Lots of water security action as utilities start their vulnerability assessments. Swimming in drinking water reservoirs is questioned. Endocrine disruptor activity may cause USEPA to run out of acronyms, hopefully before we run out of frogs. Annual assessments of water quality in some states are in, along with one for the UK... but even 99.86% doesn't impress some consumers. Maybe they want a H2O sommelier to recommend something with "bubbles that bite the tongue." Bug-checking test may not give the right answers, and there's a Rose (Joan) between two thorny issues in Singapore.
